YOGA AND AYURVEDA

Where Body, Mind and Spirit Find Balance

Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences rooted in the ancient Vedic traditions of India, with a history that spans thousands of years. Together, they guide us to care for our bodies, minds and spirits in gentle balance.

Ayurveda helps us understand our unique nature, what supports our wellbeing, and what can disrupt our balance. It offers wisdom for living in harmony with the natural cycles and our individual constitution. Yoga provides practical tools such as movement, breathwork and mindfulness, which we can practice in our daily lives to help support this wisdom.

By combining these practices, we discover that wellbeing is not something to chase, but something to nurture. Living in alignment with ourselves and the natural world cultivates grounding, connection, and ease in everyday life.

MY OFFERINGS

Yoga Classes

Yoga is more than just movement, it is a way to connect with our bodies, bring calm to our minds and find balance in everyday life. My classes are inclusive, whether you want to strengthen your body, improve your mobility and flexibility, or simply enjoy some peace and time for you. Each session is designed to leave you feeling grounded, refreshed and connected to yourself. My yoga classes take place in North Norfolk, at Wells-next-the-Sea and Wighton. â€‹

Amnanda Therapy

The Amnanda process is a year-long, twelve-treatment program of relaxing, herbal oil applications based on the ancient science of Ayurveda. It is designed to release the effects of long-term stress and trauma held in the mind and body. During each session, I use specially prepared herbal oils and gentle touch to promote cellular and emotional renewal. The process helps rejuvenation and aims to restore vitality, clarity, and a sense of peace.

ABOUT ME

Hello, I’m Justine, and I live in the beautiful seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk Coast. For years, I’ve embraced the life-changing impact of yoga and meditation, appreciating the profound benefits they bring to both body and mind.

Having experienced chronic stress while running my own business, I sold the company in search of a healthier, more balanced way of living. My yoga practice deepened and led me to the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. It was then that I chose to go through the Amnanda Process, a blissful Ayurvedic therapy. It brought remarkable changes to my life and inspired me to train in this healing method so that I could share it with others. My training in Ayurvedic treatments continues still, as my interest and knowledge of Ayurveda deepens.

Now in my late 50s, I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda for health and vitality. I’m excited to share these transformative practices with you, guiding you to a more content and balanced life.

My 200 hr yoga teacher training was with Daizan Skinner, founder of Zenways and the first Englishman to become a Roshi or Zen Master in the Rinzai school of Zen. I am a full member of the Yoga Alliance.
